Alright so, I am using a turtle beach x12 headset on my desktop and I use the front jacks as plugins. I had an issue where the mic worked but no audio would come through. After fiddling around a bit I might've found a solution and would like some to test it as well.

Dell Headphone Jack Not Working Windows 10

Step 1 - Head to your device manager

Step 2 - Under Sound, video, and game controller, there should be a driver named VIA HD Audio.

Step 3 - Right click VIA HD Audio and click uninstall. If it refuses to uninstall give it a couple seconds and try again until it uninstalls.

Step 4 - Now that the driver is uninstalled, at the top of the window there should be an Action button, click it and click Scan for hardware changes.

Step 5 - You should now see a new Category with a driver that has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it.

Step 6 - Right click that driver and click update.

Once it is update you should now have a new driver under Audio inputs and outputs, it should be called Headphones (VIA HD Audio), if you have this your headphones speakers should be working properly now.

Working

I hope this is of help to anyone, if it doesn't work, I'm sorry but this is all I could find to fix my problem.
