Pros: It's just plain cool, and you can see different light settings and make it do different things. You can make each key its own color if you really wanted to. There are lots of options to choose to make it look cool.
Cons: The updater is really slow, even on my newer, six core 16Gb RAM PC. I have to close everyyything and let it update for about 10-15 minutes. It's a bit of a pain, but not a deal breaker...
The keys are also pretty loud, despite knowing it's mechanical, so it kinda sucks for people trying to sleep. But they deal...
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this keyboard to friends, my friends who have seen it love it and want one themselves. My Mom, however, can't type on it with the lights. She's oldschool, it's great. Overall, a really great keyboard, especially if you're into LAN parties and gaming.
Cons: One problem I have is that the ripple function always stutters/ lags. I type at roughly 70-80 WPM and having only the ripple effect on the keyboard always represented issues. I love the effect but it always fails. It may have something to do with either my speed or the response time. I was never able to find any posts about replicating. Razer never responded back to inquiry.
Another issue is that the interface to program the RGB can be fairly buggy. You'll select as set of keys to change and perform the whole rigmarole of changes. You will save and nothing will happen. Then you do the exact same thing over again after waiting a minute and then it works. Again, Razer never responded back to inquiry. Both were claims of 'update your firmware' which was already up to date.
Overall Review: Get it on sale if you can. I did at 130. Don't pay full price. It's nice, but not worth that much.
Pros: This product definitely has good switches. I used a Logitech G510 before and this keyboard feels a lot better to type and game with.
Cons: When I received mine, the shift key cap was loose. It was an easy fix, just push it back onto the switch. I wont take an egg away because of this, as it was a minor issue that may have happened during shipping.

Cons: - As stated in another review, the secondary functions of a key are not lit (Question mark, apostrophe, @, !, etc.)
Overall Review: I can't speak for the other 'cons' stated in other reviews, especially those described by Vincent L., but this product works beautifully. The app is great and offers a lot of customization. Current mem usage is at 92MB, not gig(s). This is even during gaming. Razer must have corrected the memory usage/leak?
Drivers installed immediately (Windows 7), software didn't have any issues recognizing device. Only con on this is 'Ho-ly cow at the freaking possibilities...' lol. I could spend hours working on a keyboard layout (colors, reaction, function of keys, etc.)
Not sure what people are doing to their hands that require them to 'daily clean' a keyboard. Have had this for over six months and I certainly don't have a cleaning problem. Yeah, you cant remove the keys, but don't be a slob and the 'necessity' to daily clean isn't 'necessary'.
Haven't had any phantom issues of keys 'repeatedly spamming'. All keys came as expected (no third ALT)
For those that complained about USB 2.0 on a keyboard; Not sure why you need USB 3.0 on a keyboard (it doesn't send that much data...). USB 3.0 was created to expanded data transfer rates, not functionality of an input device...
Pros: Looks nice, the chroma is beautiful, especially if you never had lights before. The keys are crisp and easy to identify. The macros seemed easy to setup but havent got that far.
Cons: First, the keyboard arrived and there was no left CTRL button. It had a 3rd ALT button. Well that was just a visual error, and the keyboard buttons still worked correctly, with the 3rd ALT still being the left control. But that should have been my key to knowing quality control was not good.
In the first two months, had it go in and out, needing computer restarts each time to get it back up and running. 65 days in, it finally gave out.
Overall Review: After doing more research (well finding the research in troubleshooting) it looks like to avoid Razer keyboards. Quality control is bad.
The design IMO seems nice and enjoyable to use, but 65 days in and have a dead keyboard, with additional issues along the way?
Dealing directly with Razer Customer Support Now....I will currently give two stars. Will update to 1 or to 4 depending on results of customer service (there are bad apples in all products)
Pros: - fantastic keyboard the padded arm rest is amazing.
Cons: -when i got it the Razer symbol on the front of the keyboard was scratched on the inside allowing the light to come through that shouldn't be there. This was super disappointing being i paid so much for the keyboard you would think they would catch these kids of things. This may be nitpicking but for the cost I feel I have the right to be nit picky.
Cons: The only part of each key that lights up is the main function non of the secondary functions of any key are lit up so you have to have a light on in your room to see them. When I contacted customer service to see if this was normal they gave me a run around for over a week making me do this and that saying it was a mistake with my machine or software.
Finally they admitted it was the way it was made and offered nothing to help with changing the situation.
Overall Review: I'm sorry for an expensive and suppose to be their top of the line keyboard as well as newest one it is not worth the money when only a part of it lights up who cares about all these color effects if you can't even use it in the dark as intended and they do their best to avoid letting people know that just so they can get a sale.
Pros: -Mechanical keys are very responsive
-Magnetic Wrist rest is very satisfying to take on and off.
-Keys are not very loud.
-RGB lights are very pretty to look at.
-Razer Synapse is a very easy program to use
Cons: -Keys are very hard to remove for cleaning
-Synapse seems to need an update every other day.
-The type of mechanical keys that are used aren't exactly specified.
-When I got the keyboard the f8 key had fallen off, which may suggest manufacturing error.
